LFW – London Fashion Week is one of the big four international catwalk influencers and one of the high-profile fashion events across the globe. This season, Somerset House was the venue for exhibition for London Fashion Week S/S 2011. The exhibition was housed between 17th to 21st September 2010 where many renowned designers such as Christopher Raeburn showcased their collections for Spring/Summer 2011. This season's exhibition proved to be a spectacular eye fest for those fortunate who attended it.
There were many items presented in this exhibition. In the estEthica exhibition, there were shoes of Nina Dolcetti. Wilbur and Gussie and Les Nereides presented their accessories, whereas Stephen Jones gorgeous hats were showcased in the headonism exhibition. Wilbur and Gussie showcased beautiful satin clutches with unusual fabrics and quirky fastenings. Minna brought hand embellished and made from local, organic, sustainable and recycled fabrics in the exhibition. Those were floaty vintage inspired chiffon dresses with neutral shades. J Smith Esquire was an an exhibitor who displayed his most recent flat pack in a colorful cut out leather.
Though, the exhibition may be without glamorous models, loud music and dimmed lights, it's more inspiring and impressive nonetheless. So, whenever you will be attending any fashion week, you should visit the exhibition held there. You will definitely come to know about the new creations and latest trends.
