Milan Fashion Week is always a party mecca! As summer draws to a close, Fashion Week takes center stage in the Northern Italian city of Milan. Like other fashion weeks, this year Milan also had some fashion week parties which brought many fashionistas together on one platform. This season revelers had plenty of places to raise their champagne flutes.
Do you know what took Milan by storm on September 26? It was Glamour Party!!! The Glamour Party was held in the honor of Diane Von Furstenberg in Milan Fashion Week S/S 2011. The inspiration and honor for this party was the divine Diane Von Furstenberg who had arrived to Milan from Istanbul. That time she opened a DVF store there. All the fashion elite attended this glamorous 'Glamour Party' including Franca Sozzani, Mischa Barton, Anna Wintour, Suzy Menkes, Lapo Elkan, Bryan Boy and Jada Pinkett Smith.
With Glamour Party, there was another beautiful party arranged by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in Milan. It was Garden Party!! According to this designing duo, Milan Fashion Week was the best time to sit back and enjoy the charms of bucolic life. The Garden Party was thrown to create happy summer mood. Roses, freesia, hydrangea, mimosa and violet.... people really felt the Spring atmosphere.
In the party, there were many models wearing designer outfits, a gardening bag on the shoulder, high-heeled rubber boots, walked down the flower-lined runway of the show. This show was the part of the Milan Fashion Week 2011 of the preview showings for the upcoming Spring-Summer season.
