London Fashion Week Beauty TrendsIt is always said, “Beauty lies in beholder's eye!”. The beauty and fashion week are synonymous with each other. And London is the city that lives and breathes fashion. The city has always been regarded as the most experimental of the fashion weeks due to the emergence of new designers as well as the fearlessness and confidence of established ones.

Spring season is predominately about color. No matter, whether you wear it in the form of a soft wash of candy colored shadow, a bold lip or '70s style eyes, the concept is very simple – more the color, more better. Your skin should be bronzed and matt, with nails that add fun element to your look. The London Fashion Week showcased the same theme for beauty trend for S/S'11. There had been a 70s revival, there had been big hair, there had been glitter and there had been an explosion of color.

The tousled tresses and coral lips took the center stage at London Fashion Week 2011, with models seen smiling, with dimples appearing on their cheeks. The coral lips completed with the style that creates a very vibrant and fresh look. It's more beautiful than the traditional red color and far more wearable than neon and pink.

In London Fashion Week 2011, the evening continued with a party where the catwalk became the dance floor and champagnes and cocktails started flowing.

Like New York designers, London also followed the 70s era, from high-waisted shorts and flared trousers to fringing, pleating and feather details. Many designers differentiated their creations with embroidered patchwork embellishment, patterns, prints and skyscraper platforms.

This season, most of the designers played with the pleats, adding texture and movement to the tops, dresses and even sleeves. Though, printed dresses is not something new for Spring and Summer, this season, floral fancies have been given a reworking, making them more attractive and interesting than ever. Erdem, a designer, injected geometric prints into classic florals, whereas Henry Holland created the banana leaf print for dresses.
