While most of us were still hunting down for a perfect look and apparels for the Autumn/Winter season, many fashion houses showcased their Spring/Summer collection at Somerset House for London Fashion Week 2011. Here are some latest fashion trends right from the runway!

Like New York designers, London also followed the 70s era, from high-waisted shorts and flared trousers to fringing, pleating and feather details. Many designers differentiated their creations with embroidered patchwork embellishment, patterns, prints and skyscraper platforms.

This season, most of the designers played with the pleats, adding texture and movement to the tops, dresses and even sleeves. Though, printed dresses is not something new for Spring and Summer, this season, floral fancies have been given a reworking, making them more attractive and interesting than ever. Erdem, a designer, injected geometric prints into classic florals, whereas Henry Holland created the banana leaf print for dresses.
