Paris Fashion Week TrendsParis Fashion Week... the most awaiting event for the fashionistas..!! Paris Fashion Week or most commonly known as Paris Haute Couture brings each seasons hectic schedule of fashion shows to a close, capping off whirl-wind tour of international fashion weeks which starts in New York, then moves through London and Milan and ends in the city of light, Paris. This gala event occurs twice a year, taking in the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer seasons.

Fashion Week is a good occasion for fashion designers to show off their latest collections in the runway shows. The Paris Fashion Week 2011 ended with exhausted fashionistas giving their final air kisses to the city of light before packing their designer bags and heading back home. In recently held Paris Fashion Week, many great fashion designers gave us such a stunning collection which has become the  fashion trend of 2011.

In the Paris Fashion  Week, all the looks were very McQueen... Sarah Burton, a new designer for Alexander McQueen's brand sent the models down to runway to show her new creations for Spring/Summer 2011 collection. This collection featured a lot of feather and bold dresses with fabrics, lace and lots of tailoring.

The collection also included the very sexy and strong corseted dresses, powerful shoes, the bold, whimsical as well as mysterious prints, and almost the Angel-like gowns...!! The collection was having the flora-and-fauna disposition, from the feathered skirts to leather leaves, raffia-covered brocades and a golden wheat sheath dresses.

Another great French Designer, Jean Paul Gaultier's collection brought punk-inspired designs and a see-through bridal gown. Armani Prive's collection was made of bold colors, lots of shine and with sharp tailoring. This time, Valentino brought the collection of flower and polka dot-embroidered dresses and gowns in neutral color and it became the fashion trend for 2011. Elie Saab introduced the gowns and a silk chiffon wedding dress with prominent flower embellishments.

Pink color in many different shades, emerged as the hot new fashion statement at Paris Fashion Week. In fact, rich colors from vibrant red to regal purple, was a hallmark on the catwalk in this fashion week. The 1950s was an inspiration on some runways. The red lips continues to make a statement on catwalks. As every girl loves flowy, gorgeous, sheer skirts and dresses, then just hit up the leg press at the gym and pick out the best pair of undergarments, because the Spring 2011 season's wardrobe is entire sheer!
